Original World WWII Aircraft Navigational Drafting Machine (AN-5750-1) from the Star Watch Case Co. A scarce and highly collectible piece of aviation history, and an essential tool used by military navigators to plot flight paths on large charts.
These drafting machines were typically used at ground stations or map tables to calculate headings, wind corrections, and long range navigation data.
Some contents appear to be missing, including the instruction sheet, and we are unsure what additional items may have originally been included.
The wooden tabs that secure the ruler show chipping and appear to have been re glued at some point.
